Privacy Statement

The Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012 (Privacy Amendment Act) made many significant changes to the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). These changes commenced on 12 March 2014.

The Privacy Regulation 2013, made under the Privacy Act, also commenced on 12 March 2014.

The Jackpot Club is required to collect personal details on all its participants to comply with the APP Guidelines

This is a national data standard for VET providers that ensures the consistent and accurate capture of VET information about students, their courses, units of activity, and qualifications completed.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we are required to collect and record information about you, including your personal information.

Your personal information is protected by the Privacy Act and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Personal information shall only be disclosed to a third party for maintaining a Registered Training Organisation.

Training and assessment undertaken by students is done so in the knowledge that information pertaining to attendance and performance outcomes may be disclosed to the students’ employer or agency, where said employer or agency has contributed funds for the students training. Information whether in hard copy or electronic is kept secure at all times
